Forklift Training
Nationally Recognised Training delivered by industry experts to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. Competence in this unit, does not in itself result in a HRW Licence to operate this plant. You must also successfully complete the SafeWork NSW mandated assessment to obtain your HRW Licence for Forklift. SafeWork NSW approved training.

Your learning will include:
- Plan, prepare and perform work tasks with a Forklift
- Packup and secure a Forklift truck
Successful completion of this Course requires satisfactory completion of a Formative Assessment and practical demonstration of driving skills before attempting the mandated SafeWork NSW Assessment to gain your HRW Forklift Licence.
Our Trainers will guide you through the theory component of the Course and allow you plenty of time to practice your forklift driving skills before assessment by a SafeWork NSW Accredited Assessor on Day 3 of the Course.
You must have the required 100 points of original identity documents (including a photo ID and one ID with a NSW residential address) to be eligible to undertake the SafeWork NSW Assessment. No exceptions can be made on the day. If you are unsure, please check your ID with us, before the Course commences by calling our Office on 1800 795 502.
Course requirements:
- 18 years of age
- All participants must provide 100 points or original ID
- Unique Student Identifier (USI) Number. Go to www.usi.gov.au to register
- Appropriate clothing (high vis, long sleeves) hat and work boots

Description
Forklift Training
Do you have a Forklift Truck Licence? Before you can operate a forklift in the workplace you must hold a forklift licence. Join our next course in Dubbo or we can come to you.
Forklift truck means a powered industrial truck equipped with lifting media made up of a mast and an elevating load carriage to which is attached a pair of fork arms or other attachments that can be raised 900 mm or more above the ground, but does not include a pedestrian-operated truck or a pallet truck.
Within 60 days of completing this course you need to apply for a National Licence to perform HRW at Australia Post along with a passport sized identity photo and a fee of $75.00.
3 Day Course Includes:
- 2 days training
- 1 day SafeWork assessment
- TLILIC0003 – Licence to operate a forklift truck
