Part of the NSW government’s Skilling for Recovery program, Summer Skills gives school leavers and Youth the opportunity to skill up over summer.

A range of fee-free short courses for young people – 17 to 24 years of age – wanting to learn new skills and kick-start their career, or just try something new!

The Summer Skills program has been designed specifically with school leavers in mind. The program allows students to explore their interests and gain valuable skills that they’ll be able to take with them, wherever they end up.

This summer is expected to be an absolute bumper. Many employers will need summer staff to cope with the huge demand of jobs across a variety of industries. This is why the NSW Government is offering fee-free, industry aligned short courses for young people wanting to learn new skills.

Traffic Controller Training

SafeWork NSW accredited Traffic Control Work Training (TCWT). 3 day combo course incorporating Traffic Controller and Traffic Implementer training.

Get job ready to be a traffic controller in 3 days. Good job prospects exist throughout NSW as the infrastructure boom drives the state recovery from the pandemic.

White Card Training for traffic controller & construction work

A white card (or general construction induction card) is required for workers who want to carry out construction work. This includes Traffic Controller as they routinely perform their duties at road construction work sites.

Additionally, the white card becomes void if you haven’t carried out construction work for two consecutive years or more.

Successful participants will be issued with a White Card by SafeWork NSW, and a statement of attainment for  CPCCWHS1001: Prepare to work safely in the construction industry

Forklift Training - enquire now!

Get your Licence to Operate a Forklift.

Successful participants will be awarded a nationally recognised statement of attainment for TLID2010 – Operate a forklift and TLILIC0003 – Licence to operate a forklift truck, and be able to apply for a national licence to perform high risk work to operate a forklift.

Participants must be 18+ and apply to produce 100 points of identity.
